CONVAR™-G9 – VITAL TONIC

Nine selected ingredients. A well-designed formulation.

Your daily companion for a conscious diet

CONVAR™-G9 combines nine carefully selected ingredients in a natural vital tonic: a patented turmeric extract, ginger, green tea, resveratrol and beta-D-glucan – complemented by vitamin C, vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 as well as black pepper extract (piperine).

The combination of turmeric and piperine has been the subject of numerous scientific studies. Particular attention has been given to the bioavailability of curcumin, which may be influenced by the addition of piperine.

The formulation is vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and palm oil-free.

Simply stir one teaspoon (approx. 5 g) daily into a glass with 100 ml of cold water and drink immediately. The contents of the 300 g tin are sufficient for about two months.

What the vitamins in CONVAR™-G9 do for you

Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system, including during and after intense physical exercise. It contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

Vitamin D3 contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal muscle function. It also supports the normal function of the immune system and normal absorption of calcium.

Vitamin K2 contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and to normal blood clotting.

Plant-based ingredients with tradition and research

Turmeric extract with black pepper (piperine): Turmeric (Curcuma longa) has been valued for centuries in Ayurvedic tradition as part of the diet. The patented extract used in CONVAR™-G9 is combined with black pepper extract (piperine). This combination has been the subject of scientific research, particularly with regard to the bioavailability of curcumin.

Ginger: Ginger root is one of the oldest spices in the world and has long been an integral part of many dietary traditions. Its pungent compounds (gingerols) are the subject of ongoing scientific research.

Green tea extract: Green tea has been valued in East Asia for thousands of years as an important food. It is rich in polyphenols, especially catechins, which are among the most frequently studied plant compounds in modern nutritional research.

Resveratrol: This natural polyphenol from the skin of red grapes became internationally known through research into Mediterranean dietary habits and is the subject of intensive scientific investigation.

Beta-D-glucan (1,3-1,6): Obtained from the cell wall of baker’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), beta-D-glucans are among the most intensively studied polysaccharides in nutritional science.

Support after physical exertion

After intense physical activity, the body needs important nutrients in order to recover. The vitamin C contained in CONVAR™-G9 contributes to the normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin D contributes to normal muscle function and the maintenance of normal bones.

Combined with the plant-based ingredients, CONVAR™-G9 complements a balanced diet and can be a useful addition, especially after physical exertion.

Recommended use

Stir one teaspoon (approx. 5 g) daily into a glass with 100 ml of cold water and drink immediately. The 2-month value tin (300 g) is sufficient for approx. 60 days. Regular use over at least 3–4 weeks is recommended in order to benefit from the long-term supplementation.

Average values per 5 g powder:

  • Resveratrol: 119 mg
  • Turmeric: 47.5 mg
  • of which curcumin: 3.8 mg
  • Vitamin C: 45.0 mg (56% NRV)
  • Vitamin K2: 34.0 µg (45% NRV)
  • Vitamin D3: 13.5 µg (270% NRV)

Important information

Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. The stated recommended daily intake must not be exceeded. Keep out of the reach of children.

Patients taking anticoagulants (blood thinners) should consult their doctor before use due to the vitamin K and turmeric content.

Did you know?

Turmeric – One of the most researched plant compounds
The scientific database PubMed contains more than 15,000 publications on curcumin. Research ranges from molecular biological cell studies to clinical investigations in humans. In Ayurvedic medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, turmeric has been used as part of the diet for more than 4,000 years.
Reference: Shoba et al. (1998), Planta Medica 64(4):353-356 – investigated the combination of curcumin and piperine.

Resveratrol – The “French Paradox”
In the 1990s, science focused intensively on the so-called “French Paradox” – the observation that certain health parameters appeared remarkable in regions with a traditionally Mediterranean diet. In the course of this research, resveratrol, a polyphenol from grape skin, became a key topic in nutritional science. Today, resveratrol is one of the most frequently studied plant polyphenols worldwide.

Beta-D-glucans – Natural polysaccharides from yeast
Beta-D-glucans (1,3-1,6) are obtained from the cell wall of baker’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and are among the most intensively studied polysaccharides in nutritional science. Their unique structure distinguishes them from beta-glucans from cereals (oats, barley), which have a different molecular branching. The scientific literature on yeast-derived beta-D-glucans comprises hundreds of publications.

Vitamin D – The “sunshine vitamin”
Vitamin D holds a special position among vitamins: the body can produce it itself in the skin under the influence of sunlight (UVB radiation). In the months with less sunshine (October to March), however, the body’s own production is limited in our latitudes. According to the German Nutrition Society (DGE), many people in Germany do not reach the recommended vitamin D intake – especially in winter. In CONVAR™-G9, vitamin D3 complements the plant-based formulation as an important micronutrient.

Nine ingredients – One formulation
The nine ingredients in CONVAR™-G9 were specifically selected and carefully balanced. The combination of turmeric with black pepper (piperine) is well documented in science. Vitamins C, D3 and K2 form a trio that is frequently used together in food supplements. Plant compounds such as ginger, green tea, resveratrol and beta-D-glucan round off the formulation with additional natural ingredients.
