The EPA Explorer series is the new generation of modern individual rations from CONVAR™ Feldküche. It was developed for users who need a reliable, balanced and immediately available daily ration. With an energy supply of over 2200 kcal per day, it provides a solid foundation for operations, outdoor use and emergency supplies.

MRE – Meals Ready To Eat

The EPA Explorer NORD (MRE) variant is based on the Meals Ready To Eat principle. This means: All included foods can be consumed directly, no preparation is required. The package is complemented by energy bars, snacks, beverages and other ready-to-use components – ensuring a balanced and varied supply throughout the day.

Varied and region-inspired selection

The NORD variant combines ready-to-eat meals, snacks and drinks into a balanced daily ration. The selection is loosely inspired by flavors associated with northern regions – typically hearty, down-to-earth and robust. The result is a filling, familiar and well-balanced food supply.

Fully autonomous thanks to integrated drinking water

Unlike the ETP version, the EPA Explorer NORD (MRE) already includes 500 ml of drinking water in the form of 2 x 250 ml. This makes the EPA particularly autonomous. The included water is sufficient at least for preparing the beverages contained in the package and further increases operational readiness without external supply.

Independent and ready for immediate use

The EPA Explorer is designed to provide a fully autonomous daily supply. All components are optimally coordinated and ready to use – ideal for tactical operations, outdoor adventures or emergency situations.

Practical accessories included

Each EPA Explorer includes a measuring cup and a wooden stirring stick, allowing easy and precise preparation of beverages.
