EPA stands for one-person pack in a military context and refers to a daily ration of long-life food for one person. The new PILOT model in the EPA series combines proven long-life food with practical features. Developed by the long-term food specialists at CONVAR™ Foods, the EPA PILOT offers a modern, optimized composition - functional, versatile and ready for immediate use.

Long shelf life for forward planning

All the foodstuffs included have been developed for maximum shelf life and are ideal for long-term stockpiling. The EPA PILOT can be stored for years and used immediately when needed - without any preparation.

High energy density for demanding applications

With over 3000 kcal per day, the EPA PILOT provides enough energy for physically demanding situations - whether in the field, during exercises or in a crisis.

Varied catering with well thought-out features

The EPA PILOT contains two high-quality instant meals and a hearty canned wet meal - tortellini in a ham and cream sauce. The catering is supplemented by snacks, energy bars, emergency food and drinks. A reusable heating bag is included for preparation, which, together with three heating elements, can heat all three meals without an open flame. Instead of wooden cutlery, the package includes a robust spork - practical, space-saving and multifunctional.
