The Rice Salad by CONVAR™ Feldküche is a light yet nutritious salad from the new salad line by CONVAR™ Feldküche. With a high rice content and a balanced combination of vegetables such as bell pepper, tomatoes, onions and corn, it offers a fresh, mildly seasoned taste with pleasant lightness. This salad is especially easy to prepare with hot water. After a short steeping time, it becomes a light and aromatic meal that is then enjoyed lukewarm. The compact FlatPack packaging saves space and is ideal for transport in a backpack or for space-saving storage.

The durable packaging reliably protects the product from external influences. Thanks to its long shelf life and temperature-independent storage, the Rice Salad is perfectly suited for emergency preparedness, mobile operations and outdoor adventures.

Preparation

Preparation with hot water

First remove the oxygen absorber from the pouch. Then pour 200 ml of boiling water over the contents, stir well and let the salad steep in the resealed pouch for 10 minutes. Then allow it to cool briefly and enjoy lukewarm.

Preparation in the CONVAR™ Feldküche heating bag system

First remove the oxygen absorber from the pouch. Then pour 200 ml of cold water into the contents of the pouch. Close the pouch tightly and shake it briefly and vigorously.

Place the sealed pouch into the heating bag. The previously unpacked heating element should be positioned at the bottom of the heating bag. Activate the heating element with 250 ml of water and partially close the heating bag according to the instructions.

After a heating time of 12 minutes, remove the inner pouch. After preparation, the salad should cool for a few minutes before it can be enjoyed lukewarm.
